Winter Operations Road Attendant at Georgina

Support the Town of Georgina as a Winter Road Attendant during the essential winter season. Your expertise in road maintenance will help ensure safe travel for the community from October through March.

This full-time role requires hands-on experience with various winter operations and heavy equipment. You will manage tasks like snow removal, equipment maintenance, and public interaction. This position plays a key part in maintaining the Town's infrastructure and enhances community safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform snow clearing operations on roads and sidewalks

• Maintain and operate heavy equipment as required

• Keep the Town work yard clean and organized

• Log all maintenance activities accurately

• Conduct road patrols during winter months

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary

• Minimum of one year of related experience

• Familiarity with winter maintenance equipment

• Required to hold a Class DZ or AZ driver’s licence

• Must communicate professionally with the public
