As an installer technician, you will work with Savaria’s accessible vehicle division, applying technical experience to wheelchair conversions and adaptation products. The position involves mobility lifts, transfer seating, driving aids, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment repair. You will also support client delivery and product instruction.
Key Responsibilities:- Install mobility lifts, transfer seating, and driving aids
- Diagnose and repair installed accessibility equipment
- Troubleshoot vehicle conversion doors and electrical systems
- Resolve field service problems under pressure
- Document installation and service actions
- Two or more years of technician experience
- Automotive mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Independent troubleshooting ability under pressure
- Valid driver’s license and clean police check
- Ability to lift fifty pounds
