Lead service coordination for Brandt’s Ottawa Construction & Forestry location using heavy equipment repair and technician leadership skills. Full-time work supports field and in-house service operations.
Brandt seeks a Field Foreman to help direct Service Department workload for efficiency, productivity, and quality repair work. You will assign jobs, guide diagnosis, review repair orders, and advise the Service Manager about technician skills, training, and customer complaints. Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products is valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign jobs and work areas according to employee skills
- Direct and assist technicians diagnosing machine problems
- Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Establish and maintain on-call field schedules
- Coordinate technician training and quarterly safety meetings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and lead others
- Microsoft Office and standard desktop proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician preferred
