Constellation Energy is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to support utility and energy infrastructure projects. In this role, you will perform structural analysis and design for power plants, substations, and renewable energy facilities, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications; reviewing vendor and contractor submittals; and supporting construction and field inspections. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to sustainable design solutions, and help optimize project cost, quality, and schedule in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for energy, utility, and renewable projects
- Develop engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with structural codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Review vendor and contractor drawings, calculations, and submittals
- Support construction activities and conduct field/onsite structural inspections
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and project teams on integrated designs
- Contribute to sustainable, cost-effective structural solutions
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and regulatory use
