Prairie State Fair Housing Project seeks individuals to serve as fair housing testers to help identify discrimination. After training, testers meet with housing providers and record interactions in a detailed report. Our staff then reviews and compares reports to determine if housing discrimination occurred.
We welcome people of all backgrounds and provide stipends, mileage reimbursement, and training to build useful skills in reporting and community inclusion.
