Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department. The ideal candidate has experience working in a dealership environment and is confident in their ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems efficiently and accurately. Whether you're a certified technician or working toward certification, this is an excellent opportunity to join a team that supports your development and rewards your hard work.
Job Type & Schedule
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating Saturdays
Pay: $22-$45 per hour based on previous experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Use diagnostic tools and OEM equipment to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle concerns
- Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle issues, timelines, and recommendations
- Complete warranty work following factory procedures and documentation requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and follow all dealership safety protocols
- Stay current with required training and certifications
- Automotive repair experience preferred
- Ford certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience using diagnostic tools and service software
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
