Purpose Of Position

You will serve as the primary technical interface between Product Management, Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing, bridging the gap between complex customer operational requirements and factory engineering capabilities. Your goal is to ensure that every terminal tractor is technically optimized for the specific duty cycle of the customer. You are responsible for the technical integrity of the solution, identifying potential supply chain risks during the quoting phase, and proposing strategic configurations to ensure both performance and delivery reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Help dealers and sales companies match terminal tractor configurations to customers’ needs, performance specifications, and regulatory requirements. Answer questions about price, availability, and application.
  • Review high complexity and key account quotes and sales orders to ensure technical and financial accuracy. Proactively identify and communicate potential supply chain constraints to sales, proposing alternative technical specifications to protect delivery timelines and margins.
  • Facilitate effective handover to order administration team with minimal rework of orders; support accurate and timely order revisions when needed.
  • Own the end-to-end special option process, ensuring on-time and accurate responses to the sales teams and dealers.
  • Maintain and optimize sales tools and configurators, ensuring sales and dealers have access to the most current product information and compatibility logic.
  • Represent Order Management in research and development projects, ensuring the voice of the customer is integrated into the order management processes and tools during the design.
