Crisis Support Worker - On-Call

Description

• Average hourly rate is $14.00 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)
• This position will include a $500 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days of employment.
• This position is an on-call position.
• Three shifts are available:
• Monday - Thursday 5pm - 3am
• Monday - Friday 2am - 12pm
• Friday - Sunday 5pm - 3am

As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis.

You are allowed a maximum of 30 hours a week. The shift begins ever, your schedule is flexible, and you get to pick the days of the week that best work for you.

Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We do provide a company car, cell phone, and computer.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, eager to learn, and who wants to help children in times of crisis. We want someone who has a desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills, and a strong desire to advocate for children.
