Penn Aero Summer Internship Program

We are currently seeking high energy and motivated students to join our team as a 2026 Intern  pride ourselves on our high-performance environment made up of results-oriented team members. These internship opportunities will be located at our Mac Fasteners facility in Ottawa, KS.

• Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering

Over the course of our 8–10 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:

• Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems.
• Experience our products up close by touring our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities.
• Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Penn Aero.
• Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities.
• Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry.

• Some of these positions offer a housing stipend based on candidate eligibility.
• This role is required to be on‑site 5 days at the Ottawa, KS location.

Education and Experience

Required:

• Coding experience with JavaScript, C ++, or Phyton.
• Current 3.0 GPA and above.
• Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
• Prior work experience.
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
