Penn Aero Summer Internship Program
We are currently seeking high energy and motivated students to join our team as a 2026 Intern pride ourselves on our high-performance environment made up of results-oriented team members. An internship with Penn Aero will provide you with valuable experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is Penn Aero’s goal to evaluate its interns for potential entry‑level openings.
These internship opportunities will be located at our Mac Fasteners facility in Ottawa, KS.
We are looking for interns in the following areas- Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering
Over the course of our 8–10 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems.
- Experience our products up close by touring our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities.
- Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Penn Aero.
- Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities.
- Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry.
- Some of these positions offer a housing stipend based on candidate eligibility.
- This role is required to be on‑site 5 days at the Ottawa, KS location.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Coding experience with JavaScript, C ++, or Phyton.
- Current 3.0 GPA and above.
- Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
- Prior work experience.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
