Position: Personal Banking - Business Banking Center Manager I

Business Banking Center Manager I Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Perform collaboratively within the organization and be integral in motivating and bringing out the best in others.
  • Connect quickly to motivate and persuade others to act.
  • Operate at an extremely fast pace, handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently while working within established guidelines.
  • Train and coach a sales team in the pursuit of small business and consumer clients.
  • Provide full range of business banking services to clients with emphasis on deposit, treasury management, and loan products.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients and represent the bank in the community.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business, installment loan options, and broader financial and credit services.
  • Assist other departments as needed, building rapport with clients and associates, and treat others with respect and consideration.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • 2 years banking experience with external business development.
  • Registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act and NBH's compliance policies.
  • Valid driver's license and driving history meeting the bank’s driver standards; to be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Treasury Management sales experience.
  • Consumer lending background and business lending experience.
  • Bilingual language skills.
  • Driven and motivated self-starter.
  • Strong financial acumen and risk management understanding.
  • Passionate about proactive sales and prospecting of new business.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Logical thinking for analysis and decision making.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with multiple computer and software systems.
  • Ability to compute figures such as cash back and percentages.
Work Environment
  • Committed to meritocracy and supporting associate growth.
  • Physical tasks may include grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise and hold hands and arms overhead.
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends for special program events.
  • Local business day travel; occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.
Incentives and Benefits

Eligible for a scorecard-based incentive plan, which can increase overall compensation. Incentives are earned quarterly based on performance metrics as outlined in the scorecard.

Financial compensation is complemented by a benefits package that includes insurance, 401(k), associate stock purchase program, paid time off, and associate banking perks.
