Business Banking Center Manager I

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead team quickly, correctly, and efficiently within established guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional service to a diverse audience, training and coaching a sales team to pursue small business and consumer clients.
  • Achieve specific sales and service goals by offering a full range of business banking services, with emphasis on deposit, treasury management, and loan products.
  • Represent the bank in the community and drive Work Perks Banking initiatives with business clients.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business, installment loan options, and provide a broad base of financial and credit services.
  • Assist other departments as needed, build rapport with clients and associates, and treat others with respect and consideration.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of banking experience with external business development.
  • Must become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act and the bank’s compliance policies.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history (motor vehicle report will verify). Driving is required.
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Treasury management sales experience.
  • Consumer lending background and business lending experience.
  • Driven and motivated self‑starter.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of risk management.
  • Passionate about proactive sales and prospecting new business.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and accurate work completion.
  • Logical thinking to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages.
Additional Requirements
  • May be required to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, raising, and holding hands and arms overhead.
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends for special program events.
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day; some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Incentive and Benefits

This role is eligible to participate in a scorecard‑based incentive plan. Incentives are earned quarterly based on the associate’s performance against defined metrics outlined in the scorecard.
