Position: Bilingual DC Onboarding & Training Lead-Evening Shift (Mon-Thur 4:30pm to 2:30am)
POSITION SUMMARY:

The main responsibility for this position is to provide verbal and written translation support from English-Spanish-English, ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original visual graphic or verbal conversation as clearly as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Translate written material from English to Spanish and/or Spanish to English, edit the wording as needed.

* Research retail operations, HR, marketing, etc. to find the most appropriate translation.

* Partner with internal clients to discuss any unclear points.

* Proofread and edit final translated versions.

* Provide internal clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text via the appropriate communication medium.

* Provide "live" translation support during group meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc., including onboarding and training support.

* Prioritize work to meet deadlines.

* Uphold confidentiality when involved in sensitive conversations.

* Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

* Must be able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Merchandise Processor position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 2+ years' experience teaching or translating English to Spanish

* Ability to speak fluently in both English and Spanish

* High degree of proficiency Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)

* Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

SKILLS:

* Advanced knowledge and experience with Google applications

* Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills

* Excellent organizational skills with ability to work well under pressure and deadlines

* Ability to work well with others and a variety of communication styles and skills

* Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects to timely completion

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 10 hours at a time

* Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously

* Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed

* Climb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet

* Lift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each department
