8:00 am - 4:30 pm, M, T, TH, Fri
Need flexibility for PTO/clinic needs but will be informed ahead of time in most cases.
Provides supportive resources and education to patients and family members on treatment and side effects. Teaches patients and their families about treatment expectations and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Completes necessary patient forms such as FMLA, disability, and letters of medical necessity. Assists the benefits team in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and infusion-related treatments. Facilitates communication by answering voicemails, emails, texts, and Microsoft Teams messages.
Develops and implements individualized care plans for patients, coordinating various aspects of oncologic patient care. Triages and treats cancer-related issues, including administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments. Inputs chemotherapy treatment orders as per the ordering physician and coordinates treatment appointments with the infusion center. Monitors patient adherence to oral chemotherapy medications and all other medications ordered by the physician. Collaborates with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Researches new treatments and protocols for cancer patients to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements. Consistently monitors and records patient progress, including responses to treatments and medications.

Pay Range:
$32.50 - $60.45
