Class A CDL Driver-Ottawa

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL), minimum 2 years experience required
• Ability to safely operate trucks and navigate various road conditions.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and dispatchers.

• No-touch freight (may be occasional exceptions)
• Home daily with occasional overnights required
• No-slip seating
• On-site mechanic
• Paid holidays off:
  New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.
• Overtime paid after 50 hours.
