Position Summary
The Youth Services Coordinator/Program Director is responsible for overseeing daily program operations, supervising staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for students and families. This position provides leadership for youth programming, staff management, family communication, and program compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in education, youth services, human services, recreation, or related field preferred.
* Experience supervising staff and coordinating youth programs preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to organize multiple activities and responsibilities effectively.
* Experience working with children, families, and community programs preferred.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Oversee all youth services and program operations.
* Supervise and schedule staff to ensure appropriate program coverage.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate student activities and programming.
* Monitor and oversee all program assistants and support staff.
* Address and resolve complaints, concerns, and student behavior issues.
* Maintain communication with families through newsletters, updates, and parent outreach.
* Track and report snack counts and other required program data.
* Maintain staff personnel files and student records.
* Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of staff.
* Ensure programs comply with organizational policies and procedures.
* Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for students and families.
* Perform additional related duties as assigned.
