Career Transition Specialist

Career Systems Development Corporation (CSD) is at the forefront of providing exemplary educational and career training services through its Job Corps programs across the U.S. We are currently seeking a dedicated Career Transition Specialist who will facilitate the successful transition of our students from the Job Corps program into meaningful employment, education, or military services. This role involves career counseling, employment coaching, and extensive follow-up to ensure the long-term success of our graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in developing personal career goals and creating actionable plans for employment or further education.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to students during their transition from the training program to their chosen career path.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential employers, educational institutions, and military services to facilitate successful student placements.
• Monitor and track student progress post-graduation to ensure successful career placement and adjustment.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview techniques.
