Our client is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist
to join a collaborative Radiation Oncology team in a modern, patient‑focused treatment environment. In this role, you will deliver high‑quality radiation therapy treatments, support patients throughout their care journey, and work closely with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff.

This is a day‑shift, Monday–Friday position offering predictable hours and a supportive clinical environment.

Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance

Requirements:
  • Assist with patient positioning, education, and daily care needs.
  • Document treatments accurately in the EMR and oncology systems.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal radiation safety regulations.
  • Participate in QA activities, equipment checks, and department initiatives.
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure safe, effective care.
  • Verify patient identity, treatment parameters, and safety protocols before each session.
  • Operate linear accelerator and imaging equipment according to established standards.
Qualifications/Must-Haves:
  • BLS certification.
  • ARRT (T) certification.
  • 1–2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulatory standards.
  • Meets continuing education requirements (24 CE hours every 2 years)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the oncology team.
  • Experience with

    Aria oncology information system, Eclipse treatment planning and Philips CT simulation.
