Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments while supporting patients throughout their course of care. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary oncology team.

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and treatment plans
• Operate linear accelerators and related radiation therapy equipment
• Verify patient identity, treatment parameters, and safety protocols prior to each session
• Position patients accurately using immobilization devices and imaging guidance
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any concerns to the radiation oncologist
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, machine settings, and patient responses
• Collaborate with dosimetrists, physicists, nurses, and physicians to ensure quality care
• Follow all regulatory, safety, and infection‑control standards

• Active Radiation Therapist license (state requirements as applicable)
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Minimum of one year of recent radiation therapy experience
• Experience with modern radiation therapy equipment and EMR systems
• Strong communication, patient‑care, and critical‑thinking skills
