Job Overview

The Production Operations Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of production personnel engaged in packaging beverage products for storage & shipment, including providing leadership, direction and facilitation on multiple high speed production lines. In this role you will lead the highly visible Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) transformation to drive a cultural shift in continuous improvement. Expect to implement rapid change; be a hands‑on team builder.

This is a full‑time position on the day shift. Flexibility for additional coverage outside of these hours, including potential weekends and/or holidays, is also required as needed.

Position Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Cultural liaison to shop floor team members for TPM methodology and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
  • Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
  • Coordinate beverage packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
  • Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
  • Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and records.
  • Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
  • Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Make recommendations for long‑term solutions, including equipment replacement, refurbishment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability.
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda in the area of responsibility through teamwork, skills and capability development.
  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop the team.

Total Rewards
  • Salary Range: $70,500 - $93,400 (actual placement may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors)
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility:

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Previous people‑management experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Strong facilitation skills and a continuous improvement orientation.
  • Experience facilitating, coaching, and implementing TPM, Lean, Kaizen/Six Sigma events, and driving lean transformation with proven results and implementations in a manufacturing environment (5S, autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, visual management, and leading Kaizen events).
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred.
  • Work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime according to changing business needs.
