Production Supervisor

Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension)

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Production Supervisor to lead third-shift operations in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team of 5 skilled trades professionals and 10-15 production employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across machining, metal fabrication, and welding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance and production teams during 3rd shift operations.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and maintenance projects with day-shift leadership.
• Ensure production, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Provide employee training, coaching, performance management, and accountability.
• Prioritize maintenance and manufacturing activities to support production schedules.
• Maximize equipment uptime through effective maintenance planning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, engineering, skilled trades, or a related technical field.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to support overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements as needed.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Supervisory experience leading electricians, millwrights, pipe fitters, or other skilled trades.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to automation, controls, and robotics.
• SAP maintenance and purchase order experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
