About the RoleOttumwa Regional Health Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will provide exceptional care in our 14‑bed behavioral health unit, offering 24/7 supervised mental health treatment and crisis support for adults aged 18+.
Responsibilities- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies needs.
- Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age.
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation of medical necessity.
- Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
- Current state RN license.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire.
- Recent RN experience.
- Preferred:
Acute Care Behavioral Health experience.
