As an L&D Travel Nurse, you will provide care and support for women before, during, and after the delivery of a baby.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist physicians when epidurals or pain medications are administered, episiotomies performed, or when the patient requires preparation for cesarean delivery.
• Stay with and monitor patients throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression or lack of dilation.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; manage bodily fluids during the birthing process.
• Assist physicians with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
• Provide immediate care of the newborn.

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience (additional certifications may be required before assignment).
