Job Description
The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals and families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Active and unrestricted RN license in Iowa.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification is a plus but not required.
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult abuse required.
- Drug test (10-panel screening, including opiates) required.
