Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to primarily adult patients in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare regulations.

• Valid RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• ACLS and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• Mandatory reporter certification for Child and Adult care.
• Background checks must be cleared prior to start, criminal and child abuse portions required.
