Sr. Industrial Maintenance Technician Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation. This position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of production and facility equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial equipment
, along with the ability to quickly diagnose problems and minimize equipment downtime.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Perform maintenance on motors, drives, controls, machinery, and related industrial systems.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects.
- Inspect and maintain facility safety equipment and related systems.
Safety
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures as required.
- Use appropriate PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in safety meetings, technical training, and other required training programs.
Documentation & Teamwork
- Document preventive maintenance, repairs, equipment issues, and parts usage.
- Communicate equipment problems and repair status to maintenance and production personnel.
- Work closely with operations and other maintenance team members to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate potential reliability concerns.
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
. - Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Welding or fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize maintenance activities and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds
. - Ability to frequently bend, lift, reach, stand, and work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
