Installation Engineer – Electrical
As our Installation Engineer, one day you could be installing new power supplies and distribution equipment in a recycling facility. The next, you might be working on lighting installations within a printing plant. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building relationships with customers, and wants to be part of a company that genuinely values its people.
BASIC SALARY: up to £42,000

Job DescriptionFrom 16‑amp supplies to 2000‑amp MCCB boards, EICRs, maintenance work, emergency stop systems and control panels, you’ll gain experience across a huge range of industrial electrical installations.
- Review technical diagrams, job specifications, and floor plans for the day's build.
- Stock the work vehicle with necessary wiring, components, and tools, often by visiting local trade counters.
- Lay and secure conduit, trunking, and cables in walls and ceiling cavities.
- Fit and connect electrical accessories, such as consumer units (fuse boards), lighting fixtures, switches, and socket outlets.
- Complete the required electrical certification (e.g., Electrical Installation Certificates in the UK) to verify the work meets national electrical and building codes.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys delivering high‑quality workmanship, takes pride in seeing a project through to completion and has excellent customer‑facing skills and enjoys building relationships.
Ideally, you will also have:
- 18th Edition City & Guilds
- NVQ Level 3 / AM2 (or equivalent)
- ECS or CSCS Card
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Experience working on industrial electrical installations
- Ability to work at height
- Full UK Driving Licence
