Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quickbooks Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software. The Accountant will be responsible for keeping full sets of books for multiple of our small businesses.
Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees.
- Prepare and maintain financial accounting records, including journal entries and ledgers.
- Conduct corporate accounting tasks, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Utilize double entry bookkeeping methods to maintain accurate financial data.
- Analyze debits and credits to ensure proper account balances.
- Provide technical accounting support for various projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Strong Quickbooks experience is a must
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes and payroll management.
- Proficiency in financial accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with journal entries and corporate accounting functions.
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping techniques.
- Ability to analyze debits and credits accurately.
- Strong technical accounting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
