The Staff Accountant is responsible for executing routine accounting functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. The role also contributes to process improvements that support the overall effectiveness of the division and organization. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and Finance leadership to support project setup, billing, reporting, financial analysis, and revenue recognition.
EssentialFunctions
- Accounting Operations & Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support the monthly close process to ensure accurate financial records.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accounting documentation, assist with audits, and contribute to ad hoc reporting and special projects
- AP/AR, Fixed Assets & Inventory Management: Support accounts payable and receivable, and maintain records for fixed assets and inventory, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
- Internal Collaboration & Service: Provide responsive support and financial information to employees, leadership, and other departments as needed.
- Professionalism & Integrity: Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and adherence to company policies and values while maintaining high ethical standards.

Applies strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving to support accurate and efficient financial operations. - Communication &

Communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats across teams and stakeholders. - Accounting Knowledge & Technology Proficiency: Possesses a solid understanding of GAAP and finance principles, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and the ability to quickly learn enterprise systems like Vista.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
