Accounting Associate

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Associate to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting and clerical tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to multiple areas of the business.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.

- Manage invoice processing and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

- Perform accurate data entry to maintain financial records and databases.

- Utilize Quick Books to support various accounting functions and generate reports.

- Assist with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in financial statements.

- Provide administrative support across departments as needed.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.

- Contribute to improving processes and maintaining high attention to detail in all tasks.

- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support the organization's goals. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform tasks across different functions.

- High attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
