Job Responsibilities
- Manages the Accounting close process including: ensure accounting records, monthly close activities, and variance analyses are prepared, maintained and explained in a timely manner; accountable for identifying, communicating and resolving risks and issues; timely communication and escalation of roadblocks; establish structure and standards for internal controls.
- Team Leadership: drive department goals and vision; set clear expectations and measurable goals; effective delegation; manage departmental projects and process changes to improve efficiency.
- Employee Development: coach and develop business, system, process and accounting acumen; discuss individual career goals and provide challenging assignments; translate broader business initiatives into team objectives.
- Cross‑functional project participation: participate in enterprise projects to develop requirements; operationalize functionality; ensure regression testing; communicate changes to staff and internal customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Inventory (Preferred)
- Fixed Asset Accounting (Preferred)
- Sales (Preferred)
- 7-10 Years of working experience (Required)
- Less than 2 years of leadership experience (Required)

Base Pay Range: $98,100 - $177,100. Corporate Bonus Target: 15%.
