CPA - US GAAP Tax & Bookkeeping Expert

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a CPA to join their client’s growing team. This person will sit in Insight Global's Class A Facility in Hyderabad 5 days a week.

This person will be responsible for supporting U.S.

-based customers book keeping and tax operations, including preparation of individual and corporate tax returns, work papers, and financial reports in alignment with U.S. GAAP standards. The CPA will input and validate financial data from client business records and bank statements to support accurate tax return preparation and ensure all documentation is complete for the submission of returns. This role will also assist with tax compliance activities, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data prior to final review by onshore teams.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, and provide insights that support tax planning and decision‑making while staying current on evolving tax regulations.

• Must be a licensed CPA or EA with US-based application of said license
• Strong background in full cycle bookkeeping and experience creating financial statements for tax preparation (profit/loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement)
• Strong U.S. tax knowledge & compliance expertise (individual and corporate returns, IRS regulations, and tax planning fundamentals)
• Hands‑on experience with tax and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Excel, and tax prep tools)
