• Prepare federal and state income tax returns.
• Organize and prepare work papers for tax returns.
• Perform tax research and learn tax laws.
• Work effectively with staff on assigned projects.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
• Exhibit a professional, cooperative attitude when working with others.

• Above-average proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal skills when working with staff and clients.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and business.
• Completion of or current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in accounting. A Master of Science in Taxation is highly valued.
• Self-starter, dependable, and works well on a team.
• Passing one or more CPA exams is highly valued.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
