Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Position Summary
The Commercial Support Administrator provides end‑to‑end administrative support for commodity merchandising across multiple Profit Centers trading grain, including the execution of contracts, rates, and coordination of logistical support for commodity shipments by rail, truck, or barge. Operating in a fast‑paced trade floor environment, the role requires heavy data entry, advanced use of Excel, and meticulous attention to detail to enable timely, accurate transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities- Enter contracts, create contract folders and ensure the accuracy of files and documents for production.
- Assist with invoicing, collections and payments.
- Manage assigned customer problems with shipments.
- Review receivables and payables needing additional paperwork to complete processing and initiate the follow‑up communication.
- Has developed knowledge and skills through job‑related training or considerable experience.
- Often entry level for those with work experience in relevant areas.
- Works within established procedure with a moderate degree of supervision.
- Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 2–4 years’ relevant experience required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Ability to work in the office five days per week (Monday – Friday).
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
