Job Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join their team and provide support across project coordination, scheduling, administrative operations, and inside sales. This position will work closely with multiple teams to help manage day-to-day project activities, including permits, subcontractor coordination, equipment scheduling, reporting, and documentation. Key Responsibilities
  • Support to five Project Managers
  • Pull and manage project permits to support project timelines and ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and equipment scheduling to ensure resources are available when needed.
  • Maintain accurate project notes, update records, and prepare/send project status reports.
  • Support inside sales efforts by preparing bids for smaller jobs and communicating with customers via phone and email.
  • Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and tracking to help ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Manage administrative tasks including phone and email communication, data entry, record keeping, documentation, and compliance management.
  • Maintain organized project files and records while supporting overall project operations.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience required;project coordination or construction experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a 100% onsite environment in Kansas City, MO.
  • Ability to work either a 6: 00 AM–2: 30 PM or 7: 00 AM–3: 30 PM schedule.
  • Experience with Sage 300 preferred.
  • Experience with Smart Sheet or similar project tracking tools (Excel-based systems) preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
