Reception​/office clerk

Martin Pringle is a regional law firm with offices in Wichita, El Dorado and Overland Park, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. Formed in Wichita in 1951, the firm has grown to more than 40 attorneys with expertise in a wide range of litigation and transactional practices.

We are looking for a full-time reception/office assistant in our Overland Park office. We prefer candidates who are pursing a future in the legal field.

• Office opening/closing, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Greet office guest with friendly and professional demeanor
• Answer and manage incoming calls
• Maintain file room and any filing not handled by legal assistance
• Maintain basic upkeep of office and holiday decorating
• Oversee kitchen and office supply orders and deliveries
• Coordinate conference room scheduling
• Liaise with landlord/property manager and vendors regarding office maintenance
• Coordinate Mid West Shred for recycle shredding
• Sort and deliver incoming mail and faxes
• Prepare outgoing mail and Fedex daily
• Manage upkeep and service of copiers and postage meter
• Order food for lunch meetings
• Enter time into accounting system for limited number of attorneys
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff as required
• Assist with closing files as needed
• Prepare OVP checks and coordinate with accounting in Wichita
• Other duties as assigned
