Job Summary

The Federal Subcontracts Representative is responsible for basic subcontract development and/or administration in support of proposal and/or project requirements within the Federal Subcontracts group.

Key Responsibilities General
  • Assigned basic federal subcontracts
  • File appropriate contractual documents and follows filing rules
Federal Subcontract Development
  • Prepares subcontract related documents and bidders list for assigned subcontracts
  • Prepares and issues Requests for Proposals and supports the bidding process
  • Coordinates the bid evaluation process through the distribution of proposals, preparation of the commercial portion of the bid tabulation, and collaboration with technical team regarding the technical evaluation
  • Coordinates the negotiation process, which may include the preparation of commercial negotiation positions and scheduling / coordination of the negotiation meetings with bidders and the project team
  • Coordinates subcontracting documents
  • Ensures subcontractor compliance with prequalification requirements
Federal Subcontract Administration Responsibilities (if assigned)
  • Coordinate kick‑off and progress meetings; draft / issue meeting minutes
  • Draft / log formal correspondence for assigned subcontracts
  • Review and process invoices
  • Perform Change Management duties for assigned subcontracts
  • Closeout assigned subcontracts

Minimum Qualifications

All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Federal or Private Sector Contracting experience (1 year) preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Acquisition Management, or related field preferred
