Join Hill's Pet Nutrition, a globally recognized Best Place to Work, as an Insights Analyst on our Global Growth & Innovation Team reporting directly to the Director, Global Insights. In this exciting role, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of people and their pets by working on global qualitative and quantitative insights projects. You will collaborate across teams to unlock human truths and turn consumer, vet, and market data into actionable business strategies.
The primary focus of this position is to champion people-centric, data-driven decision-making and lead best-in-class innovation and strategic research to guide key business decisions.
Execute Strategic Insights Research: Oversee best-in-class qualitative and quantitative research studies (agile, online, or in-person) to uncover foundational knowledge around category questions, concept developments, and core business needs.
Integrate & Analyse Multi‑Source Data: Synthesize primary, secondary, internal, social listening, panel, and syndicated data to identify key trends, refine target definitions, and build compelling stories that influence commercial strategy.
Optimize Innovation Concepts: Measure and optimize innovation concept success KPIs using industry standard methodologies and vendor tools (such as IPSOS, Kantar, BASES, and Conjoint).
Govern & Train on Agile Tools: Serve as the day‑to‑day contact and trainer for Agile research platforms, educating stakeholders and cross‑functional teams on interpreting learnings, applying best practices, and embedding a culture of data‑driven decision‑making.
Manage Vendor Relationships & Budgets: Oversee project budgets, research tools, vendor relationships, and templates while resolving data, project, or supplier issues as they arise.
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing or relevant field
4+ years of experience in Market Research/Insights or related experience
Proven experience managing the execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies (agile, online, or in-person)
Preferred QualificationsMaster of Business Administration (MBA) degree
Demonstrated foundational knowledge of concept testing
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to balance multiple research projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of Syndicated Data (e.g., Nielsen or IRI), as well as Consumer and Panel data
Strong presentation and storytelling abilities with excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Self‑starter capable of driving projects forward with little to no direction while working effectively on cross‑functional and global teams
Strong personal leadership, proactive problem‑solving, and creative thinking skills to address unique or ambiguous situations
