The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing out commercial construction projects.
DescriptionPOSITION:
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing out commercial construction projects. The project manager is responsible for both project and field management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to client expectations. The Project Manager represents the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders during the course of construction of a project.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders. The Project Manager may oversee the execution of multiple construction projects at a given time, or may lead a single project when necessary. The Project Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive company reputation with the client and community.
Time: 7:00am - 4:00pm (varies by project need)
Must be flexible for extended hours / on-call
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum (5) years’ experience in a commercial construction setting performing both project management and direct field supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, engineering or a related field
- Must be proficient in reading and understanding plans, specifications, drawings and project schedules
- Must possess a strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Intimately understand each individual project scope of work and estimate.
- Develop feasible / realistic schedule and sequence for projects and manage to these schedules, including submittal process, deliveries course of construction and eventual closeout
