The Opportunity

As the Civil, Structural, and Architectural Estimator, you will develop and manage estimate components for CSA scopes, conduct quantity takeoffs, analyze construction productivity, and support proposal development across multiple industries.

  • Prepare balance sheet, contingency, escalation, and cost reconciliation for CSA scopes.
  • Coordinate, consolidate and validate discipline estimates.
  • Review designs/specifications for cost efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Perform productivity analyses of construction operations.
  • Analyze cross‑project comparisons of scope, quantity and cost data.
  • Maintain historical cost data and produce management presentations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate coordination and consolidation of each discipline estimate into the proposal estimate.
  • Review design scopes and develop quantities.
  • Perform productivity analysis of construction operations.
  • Prepare direct labor estimates, distributable or contractor indirect cost estimates.
  • Prepare contingency, escalation, and reconciliation for estimates.
  • Perform comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects.
  • Prepare management presentations.
  • Update and maintain historical cost data.
  • Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives where appropriate.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and change management associated with the implementation of improvements.
  • Individual contributor with no subordinates.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field.
  • Field and/or project experience.
  • Complex estimating principles/procedures.
  • Cost principles/procedures.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Project design scopes.
  • Consulting skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Interpret and understand specifications and contracts.
  • Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Calculator.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Completion of pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).
Work Environment/Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment.

State of Colorado: $107,404 - $161,150

State of Minnesota: $102,522 - $161,150
