The 36thlargest home builder is looking for a Superintendent for the Kansas City area to join their growing team. The right candidate will be responsible for on-time construction and customer satisfaction.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Build residential dwellings, per approved plans, per selections and options, in the prescribed timelines and within budget.
• Individual will be responsible to drive the schedule and oversee quality workmanship of vendor base, enforce OSHA and SWPPP compliance and maintain an orderly jobsite by implementing good housekeeping regulations and safety requirements.
• Interface with subcontractors, government agencies, and customers as directed.
• Establish and maintain daily contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors.
• Fully utilize web based scheduling and payment system.
• Schedule all involved contractors on-site for each phase of construction.
• Be aware of applicable building codes and OSHA requirements.
• Provide in depth Pre-Construction, Pre-Drywall, and Final Orientations to customers.
• Prepare paperwork for customers review and signature and distribute as directed.
• Achieve the highest quality work and homeowner satisfaction through effective management of resources and the construction process.
• Conduct detailed inspections after each trade has complete its tasks and before any work is authorized for payment.
• Ensure that each home is stage complete prior to moving to the next stage.
• Daily reporting of construction progress on each unit.
• Verify that all inspections are cleared before moving forward and that city final is complete and passed by the inspector prior to close of escrow.
• Preform a quality walk on each completed home before a management walk to make sure it is complete, clean, and meets company standards.
• Possess an eye for detail and completeness.
• Possess and demonstrates a can do, get it done attitude.

• Minimum of four years' experience working as a residential construction superintendent.
• Ability to delegate to and hold subordinates accountable for assigned tasks.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks with little or no supervision.
• Knowledge of single family and multifamily construction preferred.
• Must have a vaild driver's license.
• Must have a light duty truck.
• Must have a high school diploma/G.E.D at minimum.
