Project Superintendent

Job Summary

Harman Huffman Construction Group is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial construction projects in the Wichita area and surrounding region. This role requires strong field leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to HHCG’s standards of quality and client service.

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities for ground-up and renovation projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and maintain overall project flow
• Ensure work meets HHCG quality standards and complies with contract documents
• Enforce jobsite safety practices and maintain a clean, organized site
• Complete daily logs, photos, and reports; maintain communication with the Project Manager
• Participate in owner/architect (OAC) meetings and provide field-driven solutions
• Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals to proactively resolve conflicts
• Manage punch lists, quality control, and project closeout

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of structural, MEP, civil, and finish trades
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, owners, and project teams
• Proficiency with tablets, email, and field software (Procore, Plan Grid, Bluebeam a plus)
• Valid driver’s license
• Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented
