Senior Estimator

Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator will support the Estimating team and Pre‑Construction Lead in all aspects of estimating, including quantity take‑offs, pricing, and bidding for commercial and industrial projects. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and competitive bids, contributing to successful acquisition and execution of projects.

• Establish estimates with appropriate alternates, general conditions, vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor production, and wage rates aligned with the bid strategy.
• Develop conceptual estimates from limited information, ensuring inclusion of accurate alternates, general conditions, and pricing.
• Perform detailed take‑offs, identifying and quantifying all concrete scope items.
• Create comprehensive customer proposals that include precise scope, terms, conditions, and a detailed breakdown of bid pricing.
• Deliver accurate project information to the team during turnover and planning phases to ensure seamless project execution.
• Guide estimators and project coordinators in task assignments, proper use of processes, and tools, validating the accuracy and completeness of estimates produced by the team.
• Coordinate operations, ensuring the operations team receives correct and detailed information necessary for effective project execution.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural concrete estimating for large‑scale self‑perform general contractors or concrete contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of project types, particularly commercial and industrial projects valued over $1 million.
• Solid understanding of construction principles and experience with negotiated and hard bid processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.

Estimated salary range: $90,000 – $130,000 annualized. Additional compensation may include a vehicle allowance, profit sharing, and company benefits.
