AHMG General Surgery - APRN or PA-C

Overview

Advent Health Kansas City, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for an experienced General Surgery APP to provide coverage at our hospitals in the Kansas City Metro.

• Our group consists of 4 Physicians and 1 APP.
• Inpatient support is provided at our Advent Health Shawnee Mission and Advent Health South Overland Park hospitals.
• Outpatient support at our Shawnee Mission and South Overland Park clinics.
• Expectations are:
• Seeing post op patients
• Follow-up visits
• Support physicians
• Call Requirements:
• Shawnee Mission call every other week.
• On Weekend call one weekend a month. (Call will consist of daytime hours)
• We use Epic EMR in the office and hospital settings.

• Base Salary (Exempt)

• Master’s Degree
• Up to 1 Year of Position-Related Experience
• Kansas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License

Advent Health Shawnee Mission, located in Merriam, Kansas, is a 504-bed acute care hospital serving the Kansas City metro area, particularly Johnson County. Formerly Shawnee Mission Medical Center, it joined the Advent Health network in 2002, guided by a mission to provide faith-based, whole-person care that nurtures physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
