Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) to join a high-functioning hospital medicine program in Merriam, Kansas.
This is a large, well-supported 359 bed short-term acute care hospital serving the Kansas City metro area. The program features strong physician staffing, robust APP support, Epic EMR, and an Open ICU model with no procedural requirements.
This is an ideal opportunity for hospitalists seeking structure, scale, and team-based inpatient medicine without procedural burden.

Morning Census: 178
Surge Census: 185–210
High-acuity regional referral center environment
This is a large-scale, mature hospitalist program with layered support and defined role structure.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive adult inpatient care
Manage admissions, rounding, and discharges
Participate in multidisciplinary coordination
Respond to Rapid Response calls (daytime for service patients)
Night hospitalists run all codes, including non-service patients
No procedural requirements
No vent management required
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Kansas Medical License or ability to obtain
No procedural skill requirement
Hospitalist experience preferred
Comfort practicing in Open ICU model
