Starting Salary Range: $23.16-$29.97 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
Position SummarySupervise Testing Services operations including frontline operations, exam proctoring, and the test management system.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree.
- Banner user experience.
- Knowledge of enrollment processes.
- Two years of testing or assessment experience.
- Two years of supervisory experience in higher education.
- Experience managing department schedules and related logistics.
- Experience conducting computer-based testing.
- Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and non-verbal).
- Flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lead and coach team members.
- Ability to communicate and engage with a diverse population of students.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions based on sound judgment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task despite frequent interruptions.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the testing operations employees, including hire/fire, train, set goals, evaluate performance, and share continual feedback regarding growth and accomplishments.
- Perform a continual review of operations, processes, and procedures to constantly improve efficiency, support student success, and increase stakeholder satisfaction.
- Oversee the Testing Management System, including establish the procedures to schedule appointments, provide system communications, handle exam submissions and retrieval of exams, and archive testing data within the system each semester.
- Review, analyze, and assess testing data trends to better allocate resources and develop program modifications, update processes and procedures, and communicate the changes to appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitor and regulate traffic flow within the testing appointment scheduling system by effectively and strategically scheduling staff to increase efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ensure all areas within Testing and Assessment Services are fully operational and accessible to stakeholders during hours of operation, and reallocate staff resources during absences, shortages, or peak testing times to maintain service excellence.
- Oversee and ensure compliance is maintained and staff abide by all policies, standards, and regulations set forth by federal/state mandates, JCCC, academic departments, external academic institutions, testing companies, and Testing and Assessment Services.
- Manage customer relations and communications between testing staff and stakeholders to create overall understanding, satisfaction, and problem resolution.
