The Center for Children’s Healthy Lifestyles & Nutrition (CHLN) seeks multiple postdoctoral fellows focused on obesity, physical activity, and/or nutrition research in children and/or adults. Candidates will be from Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Public Health, Psychology, or related fields.
QualificationsWe look for candidates who plan to pursue NIH funding (likely via an F or K application during their fellowship) and who aspire to future research faculty positions.
Applicants must have completed all doctoral degree requirements prior to starting the fellowship.
Responsibilities & TrainingThe fellowship is a fully research position lasting two years with a flexible start date in late 2026. Fellows will receive guidance from a primary mentor and a four‑member scholarship oversight committee comprised of faculty selected by the fellow. Hours toward licensure are available only after specific negotiation when relevant. Salary will follow current NIH guidance for postdoctoral fellows.
