Position Summary

Johnson County Community College seeks an adjunct teaching position in the Department of Photography, Film, and Media Studies. This role supports the Film and Media Studies program by teaching courses in Filmmaking, Media Studies, and Expanded / Experimental Media. The program emphasizes conceptual development alongside technical skills and encourages experimentation and cross‑disciplinary work.

Required Qualifications
  • MFA in Expanded Media, Filmmaking, Video, Digital Media, or directly related field.
  • Ability to teach concept‑forward studio projects in analog and digital photography.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience in higher education.
