The Child Development Center has been a trusted part of the community for over 80 years, serving children ages 12 months through Pre‑K. We use Creative Curriculum and Conscious Discipline to create classrooms where children build confidence, independence, and strong social‑emotional skills. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed, engaging, and supported with resources—so you’re not starting from scratch every week. You’ll also have access to enrichment opportunities like swimming, art, science, and more.

- Build strong relationships with children, families, and your teaching team
- Create an engaging classroom environment that supports learning through play
- Support each child’s growth through intentional planning, observation, and communication
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Communicate regularly with families
- Partner with your co‑teacher and leadership team
- Support classroom routines and licensing standards
- Experience working with children in a licensed early childhood setting
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (CDA, AA, BA, etc.) preferred
- Someone who is dependable, collaborative, and passionate about working with young children
- Supportive leadership that is present and responsive
- A team‑oriented culture—you’re never on your own
- Realistic expectations and consistent routines

Job requires frequent (2–5 hours per shift) standing, walking, carrying and repetitive motions and occasional (up to 2 hours per shift) sitting, lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling, climbing and stooping/crouching.
