Starting Salary Range: AJCR $1,262-$1,404 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary:

JCCC is searching for an Adjunct Faculty Biology for the fall 2026 semester. Position is for instruction of MWF morning section of Principles of Cell and Molecular Biology. Other teaching options possible in future semesters.

Required Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology or related discipline with 18 graduate credit

hours in Biology.

* Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and

enter grades electronically.

* Demonstrate familiarity with use of appropriate computer software.

* Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications.

* Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in cell biology,

molecular biology, genetics, chemistry and microbiology.

* Demonstrate familiarity with appropriate cell and molecular biology lab equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* One Year of college-level teaching experience in Cell and Molecular Biology or related

discipline.
