Infant Classroom Teacher (Caring & Silly Welcome!)

Location:

14330 Metcalf Ave, O.P. K.S. 66223

Schedule:

Full-time Monday - Friday

Start Date:

November

Are you the kind of person who sings lullabies like they’re on stage and celebrates tummy time like it’s a holiday? We’re looking for a nurturing, playful, and dedicated teacher to join our Infant Classroom Team!

At Goddard OP2, we believe that early care is magical work — full of snuggles, songs, and first milestones. If you're passionate about supporting babies’ development in a warm, responsive environment (and don't mind a little drool), we want to meet you!

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide attentive, loving care to infants age range, 6 weeks to 12 months
  • Support each baby’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities (yes, peek-a-boo counts!)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with babies and families
  • Communicate daily with families about feedings, naps, diapering, and milestones
  • Collaborate with a team of teachers who care deeply and laugh often
Who You Are:
  • You love babies and understand their needs
  • You're playful, silly, and not afraid to get on the floor
  • You have a warm, calming presence and a sense of humor
  • You’re dependable, patient, and a strong communicator
  • You value diversity, respect, and inclusive care
Requirements:
  • Experience working with infants in a group setting (daycare, preschool, etc.)
  • Infant/Toddler coursework or CDA preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements for infant care
Bonus Points If You:
  • Can make a baby laugh without trying
  • Know every verse to “The Wheels on the Bus”
  • Are a snack-time storyteller or diaper-changing DJ
Apply Today!

To apply, please send your resume and a short note about what makes you a great fit for an infant classroom (silly stories welcome!). We’re excited to grow our team with someone who’s as committed to care as they are to joy.
